DESIGN IS A WAY OF LIFE, A POINT OF VIEW. IT INVOLVES THE WHOLE COMPLEX OF VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS: TALENT, CREATIVITY, MANUAL SKILL, AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE. AESTHETICS AND ECONOMICS, TECHNOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY ARE INTRINSICALLY RELATED TO THE PROCESS.

Hello, Nice to see you here

Living in San Francisco, Bangalore, Berlin and now Denver,CO within the past 8 years has taught me a lot about culture and how each society -- externally and internally -- relates differently to design.

I’m a Director of Experience Design of Charles Schwab, leading 5 project teams of Design, Content and Research. I have a love of building and developing teams, delivering exceptional products with great results. Over the past 6 years at Schwab, I’ve launched 5 new products and countless features.

People and interactions have been a passion of mine my whole life...as well as my first love, art. As I made the evolution of fine art to a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design at NC College of Design, I realized the mix of anthropology, psychology and art were foundations of this new career I had chosen. Not only had I chosen a pursuit of intertwined passion, but moving to San Francisco in 2005 cemented my career in the fusion of tech, design and Human Centered Interactions. San Francisco truly made design come alive within the 10 years I lived there. The birth of the iPhone and the interest in user focused products in Silicon Valley. I began working with frog design over 8 years ago which taught me a concrete methodology for using the human centered design process in the business world to create profitability, push boundaries and change lives.

In 2014 I left frog for Bangalore, India to push my own professional and personal boundaries by being a Design Impact Manager with Quest, an education innovation NGO to bridge the gap that left so many Indian children under qualified for work and for basic living. It was an experience that forced me to relearn all I understood about society and life and dispel assumptions.

After India I worked as a Independent Consultant with SF Agencies, Boulder & Silicon Valley Startups, and leading up design at Social Credits a World Economic Forum Initiative. From there I worked in Berlin in the startup scene at N26, arguably the fastest growing fintech in Europe, and watched the company double in size from 100 to 200. I built the UX department, led designers and teams on multiple projects concurrently and spearheaded the research initiative that is now the bi-monthly user testing lab.
